ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

(as Amended) - SECTION 14(1) THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF ST. HELENS

(BRADLEGH ROAD, NEWTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2019

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the St. Helens Borough Council propose not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as Amended), the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in either direction along Bradlegh Road outside house number 21, as and when directed by road traffic signs on-site.

The Order will come into force on Monday 4th November, 2019, and will have a maximum duration of eighteen months, but will terminate on completion of the works, which is expected to be 15 days.

The reason for making this Order is to facilitate the repair of a collapsed sewer which is located within the carriageway.
