Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Denchworth, Circourt Road Prohibition of Through Traffic and Waiting Date of Order: 30 September 2019 Coming into force: 7 October 2019 This Order is being introduced because of edge strengthening works which is anticipated to take 4 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the whole length of Circourt Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Cow Lane - Millaway Lane -Goosey Lane & Farringdon Road and vice-versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T6884/MR)_

Marcham, North Street Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 30 September 2019 Coming into force: 7 October 2019 This Order is being introduced because of gas main reinforcement work which is anticipated to take 1 month to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the section of North Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via North Street - Howard Cornish Road - Packhorse Lane (A415) and vice-versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref:T6931/MR)
(ABINGDON) (ONE-WAY TRAFFIC AND PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) (AMENDMENT NO.20*) ORDER 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The order further amends the Oxfordshire County Council (Abingdon) (One Way Traffic and Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Order 1980. The effect of the order is to adjust the existing waiting restrictions within the north side layby on Ock Street west of Mayotts Road (outside the new care home development); this will extend the existing 2 hour limited waiting 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday by 30 metres, and introduce a 15 metre long Loading Bay. Objections to the proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations, should be sent in writing (quoting Ref.JaC/12.6.100) to the address below (or via the web address above) no later than 18 October 2019. The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
