THE MARINE LICENSING (PRE-APPLICATION CONSULTATION) (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2013

Notice is hereby given that Transport Scotland (c/o Jacobs UK Ltd, 95 Bothwell Street Glasgow, G2 7HX) plans to hold a pre-application consultation event regarding proposed licensable marine activity at the Kincardine Bridge. The Kincardine Bridge crosses the Firth of Forth between Higgins Neuk in Falkirk Council area and Kincardine in Fife Council area. The proposed licensable marine activity comprises of the construction of a new section of bridge structure to replace the existing southern piled viaduct section of the Kincardine Bridge, the construction of a temporary bridge adjacent to the existing southern piled viaduct, and the installation of a permanent safety barrier along the length of the Kincardine Bridge.

The pre-application consultation event will be held between 11:00 - 19:00 hrs on 29thOctober 2019 at:

Anderson Lane, Kincardine, FK10 4SF

Persons wishing to provide comments on the proposed licensable marine activity can do so by writing to the prospective applicant at:

or to Campbell Purves, Jacobs UK Ltd, 95 Bothwell Street, Glasgow, G2 7HX. Comments should be submitted by 8th November 2019.

Comments should be dated and should clearly state the name (in block capitals) and full return email or postal address of those making comment.

Please note that comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the Scottish Ministers. When the marine licence application is submitted there will be an opportunity for representations to be made to the Scottish Ministers on the application.
