1. Cumbria County Council hereby give notice that it proposes to make the above Order under Sections I and 2 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The effect of the proposed Order will be to prohibit heavy commercial vehicles exceeding 7.5 tonnes maximum gross weight from proceeding along the length of road detailed in the attached Schedule.

3. Full details of the proposed Order, together with a plan showing the length of road concerned, and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected at the offices of Cumbria Highways, Parkhouse Building, Baron Way, Kingmoor Business Park, Carlisle, CA6 4SJ and the offices of the undersigned during normal opening/working hours.
