Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U80328, Burcott Road, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U80328, Burcott Road, Hereford, outside carpetright. Grid Ref: 351017/241013 to 351008/241047. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Farriers Way onto Newton Road onto Mortimer Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to section 81 repair works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 22nd of September 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
