Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U70207, Rectory Lane, Weston Under Penyard, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U70207, Rectory Lane, Weston Under Penyard, at Little Weston. Grid Ref: 363422/223384 to 363435/223405. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1280 onto Whitehall Road and onto the A40 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to trial hole works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 10th of October 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
