Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U71419, Village Link Road, Orcop, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U71419, Village Link Road, Orcop, at Copywell Cottage. Grid Ref: 348031/227962. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via C1235 and onto Lyston Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new supply connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 14th of October 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
