(VIRGIN SPORT OXFORD HALF MARATHON) (SPECIAL EVENT) ORDER 2019
Date of Order 7 October 2019 Comes into force 12 October 2019 NOTICE is hereby given that on 7 October Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This order is made to facilitate the holding of the Virgin Sport Oxford Half Marathon, which is organised, by Virgin Sport, 3rd Floor, The Battleship Building, 179 Harrow Rd, London, W2 6NB. The order brings in traffic measures variously from 6am on 12 October for the event to take place on Sunday 13 October. The race commences at 9.30am. All Prohibitions of Waiting and Loading (from 6am 13 October) and road closures (from 8am) will be cleared at the times shown with the start/finish areas cleared by 6pm. There will be road closures in force, which means No access and also No waiting, and No Loading/ Unloading; some No Waiting and No Loading/Unloading without road closures; and some One-Way traffic changes, all detailed below.
Parking suspensions include removal of Permit Parking, Pay and Display parking and Disabled Persons parking.
