PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2019 [Prohibition of Waiting on Bilford Road, Bilford Avenue & Kingston Avenue, Worcester] On 29 August 2019 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:-

Bilford Road (north side) from its junction with Bilford Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction and 17 metres in a westerly direction; (south side) from its junction with Kingston Avenue for a distance of 13.6 metres in an easterly direction and 17 metres in a westerly direction. Bilford Avenue (both sides) from its junction with Bilford Road for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction. Kingston Avenue (both sides) from its junction with Bilford Roadforadistanceof10metres in a southerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

TheOrderwill comeintooperation on 19September 2019.

A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre, The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester WR1 3PB, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Courtwithin 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

(U5031 5 Whinfield Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2019 Proposed Order: to close that part of U50315 Whinfield Road from its junction with A449 Ombersley Road to its junction with U50314 Elizabeth Avenue. Reason: Footway Reconstruction Works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises frontingthe highwayaffected wherethere isno other form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U50315 Whinfield Road, C2138 Cornmeadow Lane, A449 Ombersley Road and vice versa and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 26 Days Commencing: 9 October 2019.

(B4550 Blackpole Road, Worcester) (Temporary 10mph Speed Limit) Order 2019 Order made: to impose a temporary 10mph speed limit on that part of B4550 Blackpole Road from its junctionwith B4639CotswoldWaytoitsjunctionwith C2075 Hindlip Lane.

Reason: New/Replacement Water Mains. Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 26 daysCommencing: 16 September 2019.

(Link Footpath F50345 Worcester/Trosthill Lane West (end) & Millwood Drive, Warndon) (Temporary Closure) Order 2019 Proposed Order: to close that part of Link Footpath F50345 Worcester/Trosthill Lane West (end) & Millwood Drive from its junction with U51756 Trotshill Lane Westto its junction with U51700 Mill Wood Drive. Reason: Footway Reconstruction. Exemptions:to permitaccessto anyland or premises frontingthe highwayaffected wherethere isnoother form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative routes - Diversion 1: U51756 Trotshill Lane West, F50353 Trotshill Lane West, F50355 Wood Leason Avenue, U51701 Wood Leason Avenue and U51700 Mill Wood Drive.

Diversion 2: U51700 Mill Wood Drive, U51707 Debdale Avenue, U51713 Windles Row and vice versa. Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days Commencing: 7 October 2019.

(U45412 Brookside Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2019 Order made: to close that part of U45412 Brookside Road from its junction with U54000 Oldbury Road to itsjunction with U54128 Solitaire Avenue. Reason: Footway Reconstruction. Exemptions:to permitaccessto anyland or premises frontingthe highwayaffected wherethere isnoother form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U54128 Solitaire Avenue, U541129 Newbury Road, U54000 Oldbury Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 9 days Commencing: 16 September 2019.
