CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 14, AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS. TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate bridge repair works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily:
(a) close to vehicular traffic those streets or lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice;
(b) close any adjoining streets to those mentioned in the Schedule to vehicular traffic where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress; and
(c) introduce banned turns, footway closures or waiting and loading restrictions at any time should this be required;
(d) any other temporary traffic management measures as required to facilitate the bridge repair works.
2. Wherever the work happens to be in progress in those streets or lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice, no person may cause or permit any vehicle to:
(a) proceed in a direction other than that indicated by a traffic sign, or
(b) proceed in any street or length of street which may at the time be subject to a road closure until the completion of the work allows.
3. Whilst the provisions of the Order remain in force, waiting or loading by vehicles will be prohibited at any time in those streets or lengths of streets specified where work is in progress. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
4. During the prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above, displaced traffic will be diverted via local streets as appropriately signed.
5. The Order will come into operation on the 18 September 2019 and will remain in force for a period of 18 months although it is anticipated the works will be completed within 4 months.
(Note: The provisions of the Order will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs, Regulations and General Directions 2002. Access for frontagers will be maintained as far as possible whilst the work proceeds).

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate BT repair works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Dennett Road, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Dennett Road at its junction with Mitcham Road.
3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 11 November 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 3 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Hythe Road, Thornton Heath.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place,
a) no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Hythe Road between its junctions with Livingstone Road and Mersham Road.
b) the footway will be closed to pedestrians outside and opposite no.1 a Hythe Road.
3. The Order will come into operation on 04 November 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 5 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
4. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

(SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER COURT AVENUE, OLD COULSDON SWITCHING ON OF CHRISTMAS LIGHTS ASSOCIATED RESTRICTIONS
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the switching on of the Christmas lights, they intend to make a Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Court Avenue, Old Coulsdon, to vehicular traffic between its junction with Coulsdon Road and No. 10 Court Avenue.
2. The provisions of the Order will not prevent access being maintained for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to any road to which this Order relates, or to any other premises accessible from, and only from, such a road.
3. Nothing in the Order shall apply:
a) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform;
b) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
4. During the event traffic will be diverted via Coulsdon Road and Keston Avenue, as appropriately signed.
5. The Order will come into effect on 23rd November 2019 and will remain in force from 12 noon to 7.00pm.
