Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (Borough of Redditch) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009 (Variation) Order 2019 [Prohibition of Waiting on Far Moor Lane and Kingham Close Redditch]

On 29 August 2019 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Redditch:-

Far Moor Lane (north side) from its junction with A4023 roundabout for a distance of 206 metres in an easterly direction; from the access road to Regent Court for a distance of 5 metres in an easterly direction; from its junction with the hotel access for a distance of 5 metres in a westerly direction and 5 metres in an easterly direction; from a point 54 metres east of the hotel accessforadistanceof30metresin an easterly direction; from a point 120 metres from the hotel access for a distance of 70 metres in an easterly direction; (south side) from its junction with A4023 roundaboutforadistanceof370metresin an easterly direction to its junction with Kingham Close; from its junction with Kingham Close for a distance of 106 metres, in an easterly direction. Kingham Close (both sides) from its junction with Far Moor Lane for a distance of 10 metres in southerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles.

A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Redditch Borough Council, Customer Service Team, Town Hall, Walter Stranz Square, Redditch B98 8AH and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise ofthem maybe questioned by application to the High Courtwithin 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

(Temporary Closure) Order 2019

Proposed Order: to close that part of U22400 Scarfield

Hill from its junction with C2173 Wheeley Road to its

junction with C2001 CobleyHill.

Reason: Lay New Ducting.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises frontingthe highwayaffected where thereisno other form ofaccess;andtoallowtheworkstobeundertaken. Alternative route: C2001 Scarfield Hill, U23222 Foxhill Lane, C2173 Wheeley Road and vice versa. Maximumduration:18Months.Anticipatedduration: 12 days Commencing: 7 October 2019.

(A4023 Coventry Highway, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2019 Order made: to close that part of A4023 Coventry Highway from its junction with A441 Alvechurch Highway for a distance of 336 metres in a easterly direction (entry slip from A441 roundabout). Reason: Carriageway Resurfacing. Exemptions:to permitaccessto anyland or premises frontingthe highwayaffected wherethere isno other form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Diversion: Eastbound - A441 Alvechurch Highway roundabout, A4023 Coventry Highway entry slip westbound, A4023 Coventry Highway roundabout, A4023 Coventry Highway eastbound. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 10 nights (20:00-05:00) Commencing: 11 September

Order 2019

Proposed Order: to close that part of C2175 Seafield Lane from its junction with C2175 BillesleyLaneto its junction with B4101 BeoleyLane. Reason: Drainage Work/Flood Alleviation. Exemptions:to permitaccessto anyland or premises frontingthe highwayaffected wherethere isno other form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: B4101 Beoley Lane, B4101 Church Hill, C2044 Icknield Street, C2044 Lilley Green Road, C2175 Billesley Lane and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days Commencing: 7 October 2019.
