TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - PELHAM STREET & WHITECROSS STREET

1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect:-



(a) The temporary suspension of the existing parking bays on the Eastern side of Whitecross Street from outside approx. 1 Whitecross Buildings, northwards for approx. 16m and to substitute this length with no



waiting at any time

(b) Remove the existing No Waiting at Any time in Whitecross Street, from a point approx. 30m from its junction with Trafalgar Street, northwards, and replace with 30m of shared Permit & Pay & Display Places, Monday to Sunday, 9am - 8pm - High Tariff Short Term, 2hours (No Return within 4 hours)



(c) The temporary suspension of the existing parking bays on the eastern



side of Pelham Street, a point approx. 25m from its junction with Trafalgar Street northwards for approx. 15m and replace with No

Waiting at Any Time.

2. The Order is necessary to allow development works to take place.



3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.



4. This Order comes into force on 18th September 2019



for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the "
