ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Paradise Road, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a water valve repair, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Paradise Road, Richmond
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Paradise Road form its junction with Eton Street, north-eastwards for a distance of 15 metres.
3. The order will come into effect on 11 September 2019. The restrictions will be in force between 7pm and 11pm on 11 September 2019 only and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Sheen Road, The Square and Eton Street.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Waiting Restricitons Queens Road, East Sheen

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a gas connection, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Queens Road, East Sheen.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Queens Road, East Sheen on its western side between a point outside No. 10 Queens Road and a point outside the common boundary of Nos 16 and 18 Queens Road.
3. The order will come into effect on 10 September 2019. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 10 September 2019 until 13 September 2019 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
5. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

Alton Gardens, Chase Gardens, Godfrey Avenue, Kendrey Gardens and Palmerston Road, Twickenham,

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is to introduce temporary waiting restrictions in Alton Gardens Chase Gardens, Godfrey Avenue, Kendrey Gardens and Palmerston Road, Twickenham.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the following streets, at such times and to such an extent as indicated by traffic signs and cones:-
- Alton Gardens, Twickenham;
- Chase Gardens, Twickenham;
- Godfrey Avenue, Twickenham;
- Kendrey Gardens; and
- Palmerston Road, Twickenham, on its south-western side, from its junction with Whitton Road south-eastwards for a distance of 30 metres (a point outside No. 19 Palmerston Road).
The works will be carried out on a rolling programme.
3. The Order will come into effect on 9 September 2019. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 9 September 2019 until 25 November 2019. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure White Hart Lane, Barnes
(Ref: 19/141)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate Network Rail maintenance works at the level crossing they have made a Temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a level crossing closure in White Hart Lane, Barnes.
2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to proceed over the level crossing in White Hart Lane where relevant signs and/or cones are placed.
3. Whilst White Hart Lane level crossing is closed, an alternative route for traffic will be via Mortlake High Street, Sheen Lane, Upper Richmond Road West, Priests Bridge and White Hart lane in both directions.
4. The order will come into effect at 31 August 2019. The restrictions will operate from 11pm on 31 August 2019 until 6pm on 1 September 2019. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order will apply to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a traffic warden; or
(c) emergency service vehicles.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 16A
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (SPECIAL EVENTS) (VARIOUS STREET PARTIES) (NO. 4) ORDER 2019 VARIOUS ROADS IN THE BOROUGH

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on the 27 August 2019 made the above Order under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of this Order is to facilitate the holding of street parties in various streets in the borough to allow residents to celebrate a special event within their community.
3. The streets which will be closed are listed in the Schedule to this notice. Full details of the lengths of street which will be closed and times when the closure will be in force will be contained in the order referred to in the next paragraph.
4. Copies of the Order: -
(a) can be inspected until 31 December 2019, quoting Reference 19/143 at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices
