M25 MOTORWAY JUNCTION 17 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that Highways England Company Limited has made an Order on the M25 Motorway in the Counties of Buckinghamshireand Hertfordshire, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works areproposed to be executed on the road. The effect of the Order is to authorise the phased closureofall the slip roads at M25 Junction 17 (A405).
These measures areinthe interests of road safety while contractors working on behalf of HertfordshireCounty Council undertake maintenance and survey works. It is expected that the work will last for approximately 3weeks, aslipata time, starting on or after Monday 9th September 2019. The closures will take place between 22:00 and 05:00 hours (maximum period). The Order will come into force on 7September 2019 and have amaximum duration of eighteen months, ceasing when the works arecomplete.
Traffic affected by the closures will be diverted using other junctions on the M25, and by using the M40, A404, A405, and A412. The diversion in operation will vary according to the closure in force.
The temporary closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they areinoperation during the works period.
