THE ELECTRICITY GENERATING STATIONS (APPLICATIONS FOR VARIATION OF CONSENT)(SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2013

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (SCOTLAND) ACT 1997 Notice is hereby given that Community Windpower Limited, (Company Registration Number 4588923, Godscroft Lane, Frodsham, Cheshire, WA6 6XU) has applied to the Scottish Ministers to vary the section 36 consent to construct and operate the Aikengall IIa Wind Farm at Aikengall near Dunbar (Central Grid Reference 371793, 666791) previously consented on 19th October 2016 by Scottish Ministers ("the variation application").

The variation application seeks to make the following variations: Vary the tip height of a single turbine (T16), from 125 metres to 145 metres to tip, to align with the other turbines approved. The installed capacity of the proposed generating station would be greater than 50 MW.

Community Windpower Limited has also applied for the deemed planning permission to be varied by a direction under Section 57(2ZA) of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997.

Written or emailed representations should be dated, clearly stating the name (in block capitals), full return email and postal address of those making representations. Only representations sent by email to the address stipulated will receive acknowledgement.

All representations should be received not later than 26th September 2019 although Ministers may consider representations received after this date.

Should additional substantive information be made available in relation to this application, then further public notices will give advice on how this information may be viewed by members of the public, and how representations may be made to Scottish Ministers.

Where Scottish Ministers decide to exercise their discretion to do so, Scottish Ministers may cause a Public Local Inquiry (PLI) to be held.

Following receipt of all views and representations, Scottish Ministers will determine the application for consent in one of two ways:

? Consent the proposal, with or without conditions attached; or



? Reject the proposal
