(High Street, Colchester) (Special Event) (Panto Horse Derby Day Racing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 16A-C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, has made the above Order to facilitate the holding of the Panto Horse Derby Day Racing.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close the High Street in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Head Street to its junction with Queen Street.
The alternative route will be via North Hill, Middleborough, Balkerne Hill, Southway, Magdelan
The following one way restrictions and prohibition of driving will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the event:

'The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Dutch Quarter, Colchester) (Prohibition of Driving, Length Restriction and One-Way) Order 2006' and 'The Colchester Borough (East and West Stockwell Streets, Maidenburgh Street and Northgate Street) (One-way, etc) Order 1978' are hereby temporarily suspended insofar as they relate to the above restrictions only. All other restrictions will remain in force. The closure and suspensions are scheduled to commence on 26/08/19 for 1 day between the hours of 4am and 5pm or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting and is required to facilitate the Panto Horse Derby Day Racing. Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 26/08/19 and may continue in force for up to 3 days unless extended by the Secretary of State
Tendring District Council Notice of Confirmation of an Order Town & Country Planning Act Section 257 Footpaths 10 & 11 Ardleigh Public Path Diversion Order 2019
The above Order, confirmed on 16 May, 2019 under section 257 of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 will divert Footpaths 10 & 11 at south of Morrow Lane, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring as shown on the Order map contained in this Order. The effect of the Order will be to divert the entirety of Footpath 10 and a part length of Footpath 11 in the parish of Ardleigh in respect of Tendring District Council granted Planning permission 11/00746/FUL, approved 26 October 2011, for the permanent erection of polytunnels for horticultural use. Footpath 10: The entire length of Footpath 10 Ardleigh starting from where it connects to Morrow Lane running in a west, north westerly direction for 514 metres across a field and track to a point at the field boundary where it continues in a west, north westerly direction for 390 metres across a field to where it connects to Footpath 42, to an alternative route 2 meters in width commencing from the aforementioned start point running in a south, south westerly direction for 52 metres to a point where it continues in a west, north westerly direction across a field and track for 519 metres to a point at the field boundary where it continues in a west, north westerly direction for 385 metres at a width of 1 metre across a field to meet the aforementioned end point. Footpath 11: A part length of Footpath 11 Ardleigh starting from a point by the side of a track running in a north, north easterly direction for 113 metres to a point where it reconnects to the track and continues unaffected, to an alternative route 2 metres in width commencing at the aforementioned start point running in an easterly direction along a track for 42 metres to a point on a bend in the track where it continues in a generally northerly direction to the aforementioned end point. A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Tendring District Council Offices, Thorpe Road, Weeley, CO16 9AJ and at Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. Copies are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge. This Order comes into force on the date on which Essex County Council on behalf of Tendring District Council certify that the terms of Article 2 of the Order have been complied with but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Act, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from 22 August 2019, on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 8 of Schedule 14 to that Act. CERTIFICATE OF ORDER COMING INTO FORCE
In accordance with s257 paragraph 8 of schedule 14 to the above Act notice is hereby given that on 7 August 2019 Essex County Council on behalf of Tendring District Council certified that the replacement rights of way required under the terms of the above order have been created to its reasonable satisfaction. The order has now taken effect.
(Footpath 26, Myland) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 26, Myland in the Borough of Colchester; from its junction with the underpass, east for a distance of approximately 65 metres. The length of footpath which runs from the underpass west to its junction with Axial Drive will also be closed as part of the works.
As part of Phase 1 a closure is scheduled to commence on 02/09/2019 to 10/09/2019 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the installation of new electrical cable. As part of Phase 2 a closure is scheduled to commence on 18/09/2019 to 23/09/2019 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the disconnection of the existing electrical cable.
The sections of the footpath, east and west of these works, will not be closed simultaneously in order to facilitate pedestrian diversion around the works and footboards will be kept on site to allow access to the subway.
The alternative route will be via the footway on Axial Drive, footway on Propelair Way, Footpath 26, Myland and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 02/09/2019 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Footpath 17 Frinton and Walton And Footpath 20 Thorpe Le Soken) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 17 Frinton and Walton And Footpath 20 Thorpe Le Soken in the District of Tendring, from Footpath 17's junction with Thorpe Road (B1033) in a northerly direction to Footpath 20's junction with Sneating Hall Lane (B1034) The closure is scheduled to commence on 5/09/2019 to 19/09/2019 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the implementation of works on the electricity network. The alternative route will be via Thorpe Road (B1033) to Footpath 18 Frinton and Walton, to Footpath 20 Frinton and Walton, to The Street (B1034), to Walton Road (B1034), to Sneating Hall Lane (B1034) and vice-a-versa.
The Order will come into effect on 5/09/2019 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Church Road, Walton On The Naze) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Walton On The Naze in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Walton Road for a distance of approximately 70m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th September 2019 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005MU1WSEP00IBWHFATR09 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new power connection works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via High Street, Martello Road, Station Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 29th August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(High Street, Clacton On Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of High Street, Clacton On Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Beach Road to its junction with Carnavon Street, a distance of approximately 65m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th September 2019 for 50 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2252141 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks. org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while renewal of traffic signals work is undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Carnarvon Road, Rosemary Road East, Beach Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 29th August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Little Foxburrows, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Little Foxburrows, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Abbey Field View for a distance of approximately 20m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th August 2019 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037SM56208740 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while manhole cover replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Abbey Field View and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 15th August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Oxford Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Oxford Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Inglis Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th August 2019 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037SM56126414 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sewer repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Creffield Road, Inglis Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 15th August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Church Road, Wormingford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Wormingford in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 165m south from its junction with Mill Hill Road for a distance of approximately 85m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th September 2019 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034820654 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead lines works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Main Road, Sandy Hill, Lower Road, Colchester Road, Bridge Street, Church Square, Nayland Road, Clicket Hill and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 29th August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Tendring Road, Little Bentley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tendring Road, Little Bentley in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 145m east of its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 15m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th September 2019 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC006MU1WBAUSEIBUER6ET09 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by BT.
