Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 -Section 14(1) (as amended)
The North York Moors National Park Authority has made an Order, the effect of which is to make the following closure in the parishes of Farndale East and Farndale West in the District of Ryedale:
No pedestrian, horse rider or cyclist shall proceed along bridleway 019 Farndale West commencing at Grid Reference (GR) NZ 6175 0122 (point A), going generally east over Bridleway 024, or east over Footpath 519 and Footpath 201 to GR NZ 6339 0080 (Point B), a total distance of 2369 metres.
No alternative route is available.
The closure will be put into effect by means of the erection of notices and signs. The Order is necessary due to danger to the public due to an unsafe bridge over the River Dove at point X and to allow emergency repair works to be carried out.
