PUBLIC CONSULTATION PLANNING NOTICE

Site Address: OS Fields 5475 7267 and 8384, Moor Lane, Acomb, York, Y024 2QR

Proposal: Outline planning permission (with all matters reserved except for means of access) for up to 516 residential units (Class C3) with local centre (Use Classes A1-A4, B1a, C3, D1) public open space with pavilion and associated Infrastructure and full application for demolition of existing buildings and structures and creation of ecological protection and enhancement zone.

Applicant: Barwood Strategic Land II LLP

Avison Young has been instructed on behalf of Barwood Strategic Land II LLP ('the Applicant') to prepare and submit an Environmental Statement Addendum pursuant to planning application '18/02687/OUTM'. The planning application was validated by City of York Council on 19 December 2018 and subsequently refused planning permission by CYC on Friday 12 July 2019.

Following refusal of the planning application, the Applicant lodged an appeal (reference APP/ C2741/W/19/3233973) to the Secretary of State on 12 August 2019, with an inquiry due to commence on 12 November 2019.

Additional environmental information has been prepared. As such, whilst not directly requested by the Secretary of State, this further environmental information should be dealt with under Regulation 25 'Further information and evidence respecting environmental statements', in accordance with the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017. The Applicant is advertising this further environmental information in accordance with Regulation 25 hence the publication of this Notice.

The Environmental Statement Addendum (August 2019) should be read in conjunction with the Environmental Statement (November 2018) submitted in support of the planning application (reference 18/02687/OUTM).

A copy of the Environmental Statement and Environmental Statement Addendum is available for inspection at City of York Council, West Offices, Station Rise, York YOl 6GA between 9am-5:00pm on weekdays (excluding public holidays). In accordance with Regulation 25, this additional environmental information will be available for comment for 30 days from the date of this publication, until 19 September 2019.
