Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U72621, Litmarsh Road, Marden, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U72621, Litmarsh Road, Marden, outside the entrance to Clevedon then south for approximately 200 metres, Hereford. Grid Ref: 352903/249799. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via C1120 onto U94021, onto the C1125 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to a new Welsh Water connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 27th of August 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
