ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Holly Road, Twickenham
(Reference 19/130)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a service pipe repair, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Holly Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Holly Road, between its junction with Queens Road and Grosvenor Road. Access to the car park will be maintained. The one-way working between Queens Road and Grosvenor Road will be suspended to facilitate access.

3. The order will come into effect on 27 August 2019. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 27 August 2019 until 29 August 2019 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Grosvenor Road, Station Yard and Queens Road.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Parking Suspension Shaftesbury Road, Richmond
(Ref: 19/138)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a house refurbishment and basement works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order to introduce a parking suspension in Shaftesbury Road, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the 2 parking spaces sited outside Nos 19 and 21 Shaftesbury Road.

3. The restrictions will come into force on 10 August 2019. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 10 August 2019 until 22 February 2020 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for

a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

Temporary One-Way Working Stanley Road, Teddington

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Stanley Road, Teddington.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in Stanley Road between its junctions with Hampton Road and Gloucester Road other than in a direction from south-east to north­west.

3. The order will come into effect on 10 August 2019. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 10 August 2019 until 13 August 2019 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Gloucester Road.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
