LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON PROPOSED PROVISION AND REMOVAL OF DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES THE MERTON (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) (NO. *) ORDER 20* THE MERTON (PARKING PLACES) (GC2) (NO. 2) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 20* THE MERTON (PARKING PLACES) (MTC1) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 20*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton under the powers conferred by sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make the above-mentioned Orders.
2. The general effect of the 'Free Parking Places' Order would be to: -
(a) designate a parking place on the carriageway at the locations listed in Schedule 1 to this Notice, in which vehicles authorised by the 'Disabled Persons' Order may be left for any period without charge;
(b) provide that the parking places would operate at all times, unless otherwise stated;
(c) specify, in respect of the parking places, that vehicles displaying in the relevant position, a disabled persons badge (commonly referred to as "the Blue Badge") issued by any local authority under the provisions of the Disabled Persons (Badges for Motor Vehicles) Regulations 2000 may be left therein;
(d) provide that certain vehicles may wait in the parking places in certain circumstances, e.g. to allow persons to board or alight (maximum 2 minutes), to load or unload (maximum 20 minutes), etc;
(e) revoke the disabled persons parking places at the locations listed in Schedule 2 to this notice.
3. The general effect of the 'Parking Places Amendment' Orders would be to:-
(a) shorten in length an existing permit parking place in De'Arn Gardens to facilitate the introduction of disabled persons parking places in that road;
(b) to lengthen an existing permit parking place in St James Road, CR4 upon the removal of a redundant disabled persons parking place.
4. A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans which indicate the lengths of roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.
5. Any person desiring to comment on the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX, or alternatively e-mail

THE MERTON (PARKING PLACES) (GC2) (NO. 2) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 20* THE MERTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (GC2) (NO. 2) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 201*.
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton under the powers conferred by sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, propose to make the above mentioned Orders.
2. The general effect of the "Parking Places" Order would be, at the parking place specified in the Schedule to this notice, to extend the hours of operation of the parking place from 8.30am to 6.30pm Mondays to Fridays to 8.30am to 9pm Mondays to Saturdays.
3. The general effect of the "Waiting and Loading" Order would be to amend the waiting restrictions at the parking place specified in the Schedule to this notice to match the new operating times.
4. A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including a plan which indicates the length of road to which the Orders relate can be inspected Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.
5. Any person desiring to comment on the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX, or alternatively by email to

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
HARTFIELD ROAD, SW19 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate carriageway works and repairs in Hartfield Road, SW19, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Hartfield Road, both sides, between the common boundary of Nos. 123 and 125 Hartfield Road and the common boundary of Nos. 151 and 153 Hartfield Road.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of road specified paragraph 2 above will be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. The Order will come into operation on Monday 19 August 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out from that date for 5 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 12 months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (VARIOUS ROADS) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 9) ORDER 2019
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate a programme of carriageway resurfacing and general maintenance works to be undertaken in the roads specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice, they have made an Order, the effect of which, during the works, will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic from entering, proceeding in or waiting, including in any parking places, in those roads or lengths of roads specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice.
2. Any designated parking place situated in any of the roads or lengths of roads specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice will be suspended for the duration of the works in those roads or lengths of roads.
3. The restrictions and suspensions will apply only during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Alternative routes for diverted traffic will be indicated by advance warning and diversion signs on the roads affected when the works are in progress but will likely be those diversion routes specified in column 2 of the Schedule to this notice.
5. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited roads or lengths of roads insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
7. The Order will come into force on Monday 12th August 2019 and the anticipated works dates are specified in column 3 of the Schedule to this notice. However, the Order will remain in operation for a maximum period of 12 months and its provisions will be re-introduced should further works be required.

1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate the construction of road humps and associated works in the road specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which, during the works, would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic from entering, proceeding in or waiting, including in any parking places, in the road or length of road specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice.
2. Any designated parking place situated in the road or any length of road specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice would be suspended for the duration of the works in that road.
