THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ASCOT ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2019
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Ascot Road, Watford from apoint 45 metres south east of its junction with the Whippendell Road roundabout south eastwards for adistance of approximately 90 metres ("the Road"). There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because railway bridge maintenance works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 26 August 2019 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However,the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using thatlength of Harthall Lane, Bulls Green from its junction with Bedmond Road south westwards for adistance of approximately 530 metres ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Bedmond Road, Church Hill, High Street, Toms Lane, Primrose Hill and Harthall Lane.

NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using thatlength of Hornhill Road, Maple Cross from its junction with Chalfont Road southwards and south westwards to its junction with The Hawthorns ("the Road"), adistance of approximately 755 metres.
An alternative route will be via Chalfont Road, Gorelands Lane, Chesham Lane, Rickmansworth Lane, Shire Lane and Hornhill Road.
ADDITIONALLYall vehicles are prohibited from waiting at anytime on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the southbound carriageway of B462 Aldenham Road, Bushey from its junction with the Bushey Hall Road/The Avenue roundabout south westwards to its junction with Heathfield Road ("the Road"), adistance of approximately 132 metres.
An alternative route will be via B462 (Aldenham Road/Hartspring Lane), A41 North Western Avenue, A4008 Stephenson Way, A411 (Waterfields Way/Lower High Street/Chalk Hill) and B462 Aldenham Road.
The Order is needed because the replacement of existing gas mains is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
