THE WEST YORKSHIRE COMBINED AUTHORITY (LOW MOOR STATION) COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER 2015 COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF LAND AT LOW MOOR

Notice is hereby given that the West Yorkshire Combined Authority has made The West Yorkshire Combined Authority (Low Moor Station) Compulsory Purchase Order 2015 under Section 10 of the Transport Act 1968. It is about to submit this Order to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation, and if confirmed, the Order will authorise the West Yorkshire Combined Authority to purchase compulsorily the land described below for the purpose of facilitating the development of a new railway station and ancillary uses including a car-park and access for members of the public and for maintenance purposes, which is likely to contribute to achieving the promotion or improvement of the economic, social and environmental wellbeing of the area. A copy of the Order and of the accompanying map may be seen at all reasonable hours at Wyke Library, Appleton Academy, Woodside Road, Wyke, Bradford, BD12 8AL (Contact: Library Manager, Tel: 01274 431598) and the offices of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, Wellington House, 40-50 Wellington Street, Leeds, LS1 2DE (Contact: Martin Gebbett, Tel: 0113 2517421). Any objection to the Order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Transport at nationalcasework@dft.gsi.gov.uk or Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7AR before 29 April 2015 and should state the title of the Order, the grounds of objection and the objector’s address and interests in the land. In submitting an objection it should be noted that your personal data and correspondence will be passed to the West Yorkshire Combined Authority to enable your objection to be considered. If you do not wish your personal data to be forwarded, please state your reasons when submitting your objection. DESCRIPTION OF LAND All interests in 1,043.46sqm of hardstanding land to the south of the railway corridor (Caldervale line between Bradford Interchange and Halifax) and north of 120 Dealburn Road, Low Moor Bradford excluding any interests already owned by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and Network Rail Infrastructure Limited [Plots 3, 13 and 15] Rights to pass and repass with vehicles and enter and oversail with the jib of a crane over hardstanding land, car park, yard and premises and over grassland, shrubbery and hardstanding cycleway (being the Spen Valley Greenway) at 120 Dealburn Road, Low Moor, Bradford and carry out works associated with the construction of a new railway station including the right to store vehicles, equipment, plant and apparatus required in connection with the construction works and to realign the Spen Valley Greenway and rights following the completion of the construction works at all times to enter, pass and repass with vehicles in order to maintain the new railway station [Plots 1, 2, 4-12, 14, 16 and 17] Dated this 2nd date of April 2015 David Hoggarth Director of Development West Yorkshire Combined Authority Wellington House, 40-50 Wellington Street, Leeds, LS1 2DE
