Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Appleford, unnamed road from Main Road to Didcot Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 19 August 2019 - Coming into force: 31 August 2019 This Order is being introduced because of railway track renewal works which are anticipated to be completed on 29 September 2019. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of the unnamed road from Main Road to Hill Farm via Appleford Level Crossing
Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Main Road, B4016 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. T6766/RAG

Yelford-unnamed roads Prohibition of Through Traffic and Waiting Date of Order: 19 August 2019 - Coming into force: 30 August 2019 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway improvements which are anticipated to be completed on 5 September 2019. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the whole length of the unnamed road running through Yelford, and the road northwards from Cote. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via North Street-B4449 Cote Road and vice versa, or alternatively Standlake Road-B4449 Cote Road-North Street and vice versa.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. T6720/RAG

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Chimney, road towards village Prohibition of Through Traffic and Waiting Date of Order: 19 August 2019 - Coming into force: 28 August 2019 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway recycling treatments which are anticipated to be completed on 2 September 2019
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the whole length of the road to Chimney from its junction with Great Brook Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. As this is a no-through road there is no diversion route. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Didcot, B4016 Lady Grove, OX11 9BQ Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 5 August 2019 - Coming into force: 12 August 2019 This Order is being introduced because of water mains connection which is anticipated to take 12 days to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the northern section of Lady Grove Road at OX11 9BQ. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Abingdon Road - Hadden Hill (A4130) - Long Wittenham Road & Sires Hill and vice-versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref:T6774/MR)

Charney Bassett, Buckland Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 19 August 2019 - Coming into force: 27 August 2019 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway patching work which is anticipated to take 11 days to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in that part of Buckland Road between New Road and the Gainfield junction. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Longworth Road - Charney Road -A420 - B4508 - Buckland Road and vice-versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) & (2) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
East Challow Footpath No.196/5 Closure Closure commenced: 26 July 2019 Date of Order: 5 August 2019-Coming into force: 12 August 2019 This Order is being introduced because of construction works which are anticipated to be completed on 31 August 2020. The effect of the Order, which continues from an emergency closure notice, is to temporarily prohibit persons proceeding in East Challow Footpath No.196/5 between the A417 Challow Road and Canal Way. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. The alternative route is via Challow Road and Canal Way. This Order will remain in force for 6 months and may be extended with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport. (Ref.
