THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD) ORDER NO.5 2019
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at anytime on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Garsmouth Way, Watford from its junction with York Waysouth westwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Meridan Way, adistance of approximately 406 metres.
An alternative route will be via York Wayand Meridan Way.
2. thatlength of Meridan Way, Watford from its junction with YorkWaysouth westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Westlea Avenue, adistance of approximately 451 metres.
An alternative route will be via York Wayand Westlea Avenue.
3. thatlength of Westlea Avenue, Watford from its junction with A41 North Western Avenue, Colne Waynorth eastwards for adistance of approximately 114 metres.
An alternative route will be via A41 (North Western Avenue, Colne Way/North Western Avenue), A412 St Albans Road, Garston Lane, The Gossamers, York Wayand Westlea Avenue. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 5August 2019 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARYCLOSING OF THE FOOTWAY SITUATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF A405 NORTH ORBITAL ROAD,WATFORD) ORDER 2019
NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the footway situated on the north side of A405 North Orbital Road, Watford from apoint 8metres west of a point in line with the eastern boundaryof'Orbital Community Centre' south westwards for adistance of approximately 60 metres ("the Footway").
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north side of A405 North Orbital Road, the subway situated beneath A405 North Orbital Road the footway situated on the south side of A405 North Orbital Road, the footway situated on the south side of North Approach, the subway situated beneath A405 North Orbital Road and the footway situated on the north side of A405 North Orbital Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footway.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 6August 2019 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at thetimes indicated by signs on or near the Footway.

NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Solesbridge Lane, Chorleywood from its junction with A404 Rickmansworth Road north eastwards to its junction with Chess Way("the Road"), adistance of approximately 510 metres, except for access.
An alternative route will be via A404 (Rickmansworth Road/Chorleywood Road), A412 (Park Road/ Scots Hill), The Green, Sarratt Road and Solesbridge Lane. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 5August 2019 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Gosforth Lane, SouthOxhey from its junction with Fairfield Avenue south eastwards to its junction with Otley Way("the Road"), adistance of approximately 93 metres, except for access.
An alternative route will be via Gosforth Lane, Ainsdale Road, Oxhey Drive and Gosforth Lane. The Order is needed because sewer connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 5August 2019 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Chequers Lane, Abbots Langley from its junction with Woodside Road north eastwards for adistance of approximately 379 metres ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Woodside Road, Horseshoe Lane, A405 St Albans Road and Chequers Lane
or via Chequers Lane, A405 North Orbital Road, the M25 (junction 21A) roundabout, A405 (North Orbital Road/St Albans Road), Horseshoe Lane and Woodside Road. ADDITIONALLYall vehicles are prohibited from waiting at anytime on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at anytime on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. the northbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue, Bushey/A41 (Otterspool Way/ North Western Avenue, Colne Way), Watford and A41 North Western Avenue, Woodside from apoint 415 metres north west of its junction with the B462 Hartspring Lane/A41 Elton Way roundabout north westwards to its junction with the A412 St Albans Road roundabout, adistance of approximately 2313 metres.
An alternative route will be via A4008 Stephenson Way, A411 (Beechen Grove/Exchange Road/ Beechen Grove) and A412 St Albans Road.
2. the southbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue, Woodside/A41 (North Western Avenue, Colne Way/Otterspool Way), Watfordfrom its junction with the A412 St Albans Road roundabout south eastwards for adistance of approximately2233 metres.
An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road, A411 Beechen Grove and A4008 StephensonWay.
3. thatlength ofWoodmere Avenue,Watford from its junction with A41 North Western Avenue, Colne Waysouth westwards to its junction with Bushey Mill Lane, adistance of approximately 91 metres.
An alternative route will be via A41 (North Western Avenue, Colne Way/North Western Avenue), A412 St Albans Road and Bushey Mill Lane.
4. thatlength of Westlea Avenue, Watford fromits junction with A41 North Western Avenue, Colne Waynorth eastwards for adistanceofapproximately 23 metres.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 5August 2019 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Loates Lane, Watford from its junction with Lord Street north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with Queens Road ("the Road"), adistance of approximately 193 metres, except for access.
An alternative route will be via Loates Lane, A411 Beechen Grove, Clarendon Road, Woodford Road and Queens Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 19 August 2019 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However,the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A411 Chalk Hill, Oxhey and A411 (London Road/High Street/Sparrows Herne), Bushey from its junction with A4008 Aldenham Road eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with A411 Elstree Road ("the length of Roads"), adistance of approximately 2796 metres. An alternative route will be via A4008 (Aldenham Road/Pinner Road), A411 (Lower High Street/ Dalton Way/Waterfields Way), A4008 Stephenson Way, A41 (Otterspool Way/Elton Way/Tylers Way) and A411 Elstree Road
or via A411 Elstree Road, A41 (Tylers Way/Elton Way/North Western Avenue), A4008 Stephenson Wayand A411 (Waterfields Way/Lower High Street/Chalk Hill).
ADDITIONALLYall vehicles are prohibited from waiting at anytime on both sides of this length of Roads whilst works are in progress.
