Alternative route: Chesham Lane, Rocky Lane, London Road, Aylesbury Road, Missenden Bypass, Frith Hill, Potter Row, Kings Lane, The Lee To Kings Lane, Lee Clump Road, Swan Bottom Road. The closure is required whilst BT Openreach Tree cutting works to access overhead cabling works take place commencing on 12 August 2019 between 09:30 and 15:30. Road will be open daily at 15:30 The proposed Order will come into operation on 12 August 2019, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make The Buckinghamshire County Council (Public Footpath No. 1Marlow Parish) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order, 2019 under Section 14(1) ofthe Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding in that length ofPublic Footpath No. 1Marlow Parish from Link MAW/1/4.along Thames Path From A SU 859 860 (Road Bridge Marlow) to B SU 867 862 (Parish Boundary Little Marlow) for 1,017 metres. No convenient alternative route is available. The closure is required in the interest ofpublic safety whilst repair works to the Thames Path National Trail surface is carried out. The Order will come into operation on 10th August 2019 as signed, with amaximum duration of6months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
