Allan Whitaker has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under Section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on The Allotment (West Riding), Austwick, N. Yorks. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State. The proposed works are temporary fencing of 318 metres, enclosing 17.8 hectares of common, for peat restoration works, for a period of up to 10 years. The works will be located on The Allotment (West Riding), Austwick. LA2 8DP during normal office hours until 29th August, 2019.
