BRIGHTON AND HOVE CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - ARGYLE ROAD, BRIGHTON
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 15th July 2019 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-
(a) The closure of Argyle Road at its junction with New England Road.
(b) To maintain access the existing one-way order in Argyle Road. between its junctions with New England Road and Campbell Road will be rescinded.
(c) For safety reasons the existing one-way order in Argyle Road between its junctions of Campbell Road to Preston Road will be reversed.
2. The Order is necessary to allow junction improvement works on New England Road to take place.
3. Pedestrian access will be maintained. The alternative route for vehicles will be Preston Road, Stanford Avenue, Beaconsfield Road, New England Road, Campbell Road.
4.This Order comes into force on 5th August 2019 for
eighteen months or until such sooner time as the
works are completed which is estimated to be IIIIIm
