TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (North West) (No. 40) Order 2019" authorising the stopping up of a length of Olivers Court, a length of Purple Street and a length of the unnamed highway to the rear of Brown Street at Bolton in the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton to enable development as permitted by Bolton Council, under reference 05572/19.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or

(quoting NATTRAN/NW/S247/3743) and may be inspected during normal opening hours at Bolton Council, Directorate of Place, Highways and Engineering Division, Asset Management, Design and Construction, 3rd Floor, Paderborn House, Howell Croft North, Bolton, BL1 1UA.

Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 30 July 2019 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
