TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest ("the Council") hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an order under Section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up of the following area of public highway which is shown cross hatched black and edged red on the plan attached to the draft order and comprising 359 sqm and generally described as:
(1) The rectangular strip of land at the eastern side of Green Ferry Way, E17 running from its junction with Forest Road for 67.2 metres with varying widths with the maximum being 18.25 metres
IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping up will be authorised only in order to enable development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted by the Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest on 18 February 2019 under reference 182917 in relation to land known as Blackhorse Road Car Park, Forest Road, Walthamstow, E17.
COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND THE RELEVANT PLANS MAY BE INSPECTED during normal office hours for 28 days commencing on 25 July 2019 at (a) The Information Desk, Town Hall, Forest Road, Walthamstow, E17; and (b) Low Hall, Argall Avenue, London, E10 7AS free of charge
ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of the proposed order within the period of 28 days commencing on 25 July 2019 by written statement to Legal and Democratic Services, Waltham Forest Town Hall, Forest Road, London, E17 4JF (Ref: NHP.205/JMB).
In preparing an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and that those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.

THE SCHEDULE
Redevelopment of the existing car park site involving demolition of existing structures and the construction of a building ranging from 5 to 21 storeys in height comprising 350 residential units (Use Class C3) approximately 1,650 sqm of flexible commercial floor space (Use Class A1 to A4, B1, D1 or D2), community cycle hub, ancillary refuse stores, servicing, parking, landscaping and associated public realm works.
