THE M62 MOTORWAY (JUNCTIONS 8-9 SLIP ROADS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 09346363) has made an Order on the M62 Motorway, in the Borough of Warrington, in the County of Cheshire, to enable sign replacement works and other general maintenance to be carried out in safety. The Order will ban all traffic from the following sections of the M62 Motorway:
i) the eastbound exit slip road at Junction 9;
ii) the westbound entry slip road at Junction 9;
iii) the westbound exit slip road at Junction 8;
iv) the eastbound entry slip road at Junction 8;
v) the eastbound exit slip road at Junction 8 leading to Burtonwood Services for its full length;
vi) the eastbound entry slip road at Junction 8 leading to Burtonwood Services for its full length;
The prohibitions are expected to take place overnight between 21:00 hours and 05:00 hours (continuing to 07:00 hours on Saturday and Sunday mornings) during a period starting on Saturday 10 August 2019 and ending on Monday 30 September 2019. However, works may start and continue between the same times on subsequent nights until completed. Diversions routes via alternative junctions of the M62 and local roads will be well signed. The prohibitions will not apply to emergency services, works, or traffic officer vehicles, and will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
