The Council hereby gives notice to invite comments on the following consultation documents:
1. Draft Statement of Community Involvement (Planning matters)
The Council is consulting on its revised Draft Statement of Community Involvement (Planning matters) which sets out in detail how the Council will engage with the community and other stakeholders when producing planning policies and making decisions on planning applications.
2. Draft Local Validation Checklist
The Council is consulting on its updated Draft Local Validation Checklist. The Local Validation Checklist sets out which documents need to be
submitted with an application in this borough in order for it to be validated. Availability of above consultation documents for inspection

- The Statement of Community Involvement has been prepared in accordance with the 2004 Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act as amended by the Planning Act 2008, the Localism Act 2011, the Neighbourhood Planning Act 2017, and the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 (as amended).
