Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: a) A350 (Part), Melksham; from its junction with B3107 to its junction with Semington Road; b) A365 (Part), Melksham; from its junction with A350 to its junction with Station Yard; c) A3102 (Part), Melksham; from its junction with A350 to its junction with A3102 Old Broughton Road; d) B3107 (Part), Melksham and Melksham Without; from its junction with A350 to its junction with Melksham Lane to enable Ringway to carry out resurfacing works in conjunction with A350 Farmers Roundabout scheme. A) Alternative route: via A3102 - Eastern Way - Melksham Relief Road - Snowberry Lane - Spa Road - A365 - A350 (unaffected length) and vice versa. B) Alternative route: via A365 (unaffected length) - A4 - A350 and vice versa. C) Alternative route: via A3102 (unaffected length) - Eastern Way - Melksham Relief Road - Snowberry Lane - Spa Road - A365 - A350 and vice versa. D) Alternative route: via B3107 (unaffected length) - B3105 -B3106 - Elizabeth Way - A361 - A350 and vice versa. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came operation on 08 July 2019 will now recommence on 22 July 2019 and it is anticipated the closures will be required as follows: Closure (c): operating on 22 July 2019 between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 26 July 2019; Closure (d): operating on 23 July 2019 between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 24 July 2019 and 25 July 2019 between the hours of 19:00
and 06:00 until 26 July 2019; Closure (a): operating on 29 July 2019 between
the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 03 August 2019; Closure (b): operating on 09 September 2019 between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 12 September 2019. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 15 (Part) Westbury; from its junction with Oldfield Road for a distance of approximately 180 metres in a northerly direction to enable Construction in the area around the right of way and underground mains drainage works. Alternative routes: An alternative route can be found around the southern boundary of the field. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 22 July 2019 for 06 months. The Order will have a maximum duration of six months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to temporarily introduce a 30mph speed restriction on the following length of road: A4 Chippenham Road (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Cross keys for a distance of approximately 150 metres in a westerly and easterly direction to enable Ringway to safely carry out Footway and Carriageway resurfacing including installation of road markings and associated works and refurbishment of the existing signalised junction. The speed limit restriction will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This speed limit restriction will come into operation on 22 July 2019 and will be required until 26 September 2019. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. from its junction with C159 to its junction with A4 Chippenham Road; B) Cross Keys, Corsham; from its junction with A4 Chippenham Road to its junction with Newlands Road; C) Newlands Road, Corsham; from its junction with Cross Keys to its junction with B3353 Pickwick Road to enable Ringway to carry out kerbing, drainage, footway surfacing, traffic signal works, carriageway resurfacing, road marking and adjustment of ironworks. Alternative route for (a): via C159 - A4 Chippenham Road and vice versa. Alternative route for (b) and (c): via B3353 Pickwick Road - A4 Chippenham Road and vice versa.
