The Borough of Blackburn with Darwen (Footpath Between Marsh House Lane

And Naples Road, Darwen) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2019

NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with □arwen Borough Council, intend to make the above Order under Section 14 (1 )(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to close Footpath Between Marsh House Lane And Naples Road from its junction with Brussles Road to its junction with Naples Road. The closure is necessary for the following reason: To install new linkbox and connection works. The Order will come into force on 5th August 2019 and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 9th August 2019.

The alternative route for the affected traffic will be

Naples Road and Brussells Road.

Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians

will be maintained at all times.
