TEMPORARY CLOSURE 51156 CALFWAY LANE (BISLEY-WITH-LYPIATT PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 51156 Calfway Lane from its junction with Cheltenham Road to outside the property known as Evimizfor a distance of approximately 50 metres.

The reason for the closure is to repair a water pipe within the carriageway.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 41214 HALFWAY PITCH (PITCHCOMBE PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 41214 Halfway Pitch outside the property known as Old Mill House for a distance of approximately 20 metres. The reason for the closure is to repair a damaged duct in the carriageway for Openreach.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FOOTPATH MST/70 AND MKS/1 (KINGS STANLEY PARISH AND STONEHOUSE TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14,15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath MKS/1 in the Parish of Kings Stanley from its junction with Ryeford Road South and running in a generally east north easterly direction then continuing in Stonehouse Town as Public Footpath MST/70 crossing the Ebley Bypass for a distance of approximately 685 metres. The closure is necessary to safeguard the public during the construction of a water main.

The Order will come into force on the 5th August 2019 and it is anticipated that the public rights of way will close on that day until 5th October 2019. However, should it be necessary to continue the closure for longer than this period the Order can authorise the closure for up to six months. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.

There is no alternative route but access gates will be provided on the footpath at perimeter fencing at either side of the 20m width working area. Closures will be managed locally and paths will be kept open unless works on site necessitate them being closed for a short period.

Pedestrian access to properties and emergency access will be maintained for the duration of the works.

TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION C/270 WOEFULDANE BOTTOM (MINCHINHAMPTON PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order to temporarily restrict the speed of vehicles under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to a maximum of 30mph along part of the 3/270 Woefuldane Bottom from its junction with 401547 Hollybush Farm to Crackstone to its junction with 3/271 Gatcombe Corner to Beeches Park, for a distance of approximately 860 metres.

The reason for the speed restriction is for safety purposes during Gatcombe Horse Trials.

The above Order made on 28 June 2019, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding to them the following length of Public Footpath connecting Rose Hill and Far Wells Road in Bisley with Lypiatt Parish: A length of public footpath in the parish of Bisley with Lypiatt Gloucestershire which commences at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference ("OSGR") SO 9029 0566 at its junction with the highway verge, part of Rose Hill (51197) in a south easterly direction for 15 metres to OSGR SO 9030 0565 at its junction with Far Wells Road (41230).
