TEMPORARY CLOSURE 41616 MOOREND LANE (SLIMBRIDGE PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 41616 Moorend Lane from its junction with Tyning Crescent to its junction with Berkeley Court for a distance of approximately 66 metres. The reason for the closure is for gas mains and service replacement. The road is expected to be closed from 15th July 2019 until 26th July 2019 or until the works have been completed. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road will be maintained. Emergency access will not be maintained as excavations will block the carriageway.

There will be no parking or waiting permitted throughout the duration of the works The roads are expected to be closed and restricted on a rolling programme commencing 1st August 2019 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closure/ restriction is in force.
