Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, Intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U70000, Tanhouse Road, Upton Bishop, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U70000, Tanhouse Road, Upton Bishop, White House. Grid Ref:365389/226993. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal Is via the C1287, onto the B4221, onto the U70002 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to replacing pole works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 7th of August 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
