(High Ongar Road, Ongar & High Ongar Road, Straightening &Chelmsford Road, Ongar) (Temporary Introduction of 40MPH Speed Limit) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a40mph speed limit in that length of High Ongar Road, Ongar, High Ongar Road, Straightening and ChelmsfordRoad, Ongar in the District of Epping Forest, from the junction with Four WantzRoundabout to the junction with Forest Lane, Ongar,a distance of approximately 1560m (The current speed limit is 60mph). The temporary speed limit is scheduled to commence on 29th July 2019 for 19 days, or wherestated on avalid permit (EP201EH10002631 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on
. The temporary speed limit is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works areundertaken by Essex County Council. The Order will come into effect on 18th July 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Blake Hall Road, Ongar) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Blake Hall Road, Ongar in the District of Epping Forest from its junction with Epping Road to its junction with Toot Hill Road, adistance of approximately 1810m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th July 2019 for 12 days, or wherestated on avalid permit (MX043215ND798 -Affinity Water). (Pudding Lane, Chigwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pudding Lane, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Abridge Road for adistance of approximately 245m in asoutheasterly direction. The closureisscheduled to commence on 18th July 2019 for 1day,orwhere stated on avalid permit (BC005CC8W00000IBBDMMNTAA -BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on
. The closureisrequired for thesafety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works areundertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Abridge Road, Gravel Lane and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 4th July 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Laundry Lane, Nazeing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Laundry Lane, Nazeing in the District of Epping Forest, from apoint approximately 90m southeast of its junction with St Leonards Road for adistance of approximately 65m in an easterly direction. The closureisscheduled to commence on 29th July 2019 for 3days,orwhere stated on avalid permit (MX054286208700 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on
. The closureisrequired for the safety of the public and workforce while communication pipe works areundertaken by Affinity Water. An alternative route is available via Laundry Lane, St Leonards Road, Waltham Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 18th July 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Notice of Making of an Order Highways Act 1980 Essex County Council Public Path Extinguishment Order 2019 Footpaths 14 And 29 Harlow
The above orders made on 3July2019 under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980, as shown on the order maps will extinguish:
1) Apartlength of Footpath 14 Harlow of unknown width commencing from apoint by the roundabout, at the highway known as Gilden Wayrunning in agenerally north north westerly direction for adistance of 565 metres to apoint whereitmeets afarmtrack and whereitcontinues unaffected.
2) Apartlength of Footpath 29 Harlow commencing from apoint whereitmeets the highway known as Marsh Lane (Footpath 35 Sheering) and running in agenerally west south westerly direction for adistance of 684 metres to apoint where it connects to Footpath 184 at the footbridge and continues unaffected. Acopy of the Orders and the Order maps have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Harlow District Council, Civic Centre, The WaterGardens, Harlow CM20 1WG and at Chelmsford Public Library,Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. Copies areavailable on requestfromthe ChelmsfordLibrary at acharge.
Any representations about or objections to the orders may be sent in writing to Laurence Page, Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South, ChelmsfordCM1 1QHnot later than 8August 2019. Please state the grounds on which they aremade.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may confirm the Orders as unopposed orders. If the Orders are sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Orders. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information)
Act 1985.
