LONGMEADOW COMMON
I.K Johnson has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Longmeadow Common. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State. The proposed works are: To fence the riparian corridor of the river Arrow adjacent to the common. The fencing will be erected at a sensible distance from the top of the riverbank to survive flood damage. It will be wooden stake and post supporting double strand barb for approximately 1105m. It will have two access gates at logical locations.
