THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARYCLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITINGRESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN RICKMANSWORTH) ORDER NO.2 2019
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at anytime on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of High Street, Rickmansworth from its junction with the A412 Park Road/The Quadrant roundabout south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Church Street, a distance of approximately 513 metres.
An alternative route will be via A412 (Park Road/RectoryRoad), A404 Rverside Drive and Church Street.
2. that length of Talbot Road, Rickmansworth from its junction with High Street south eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
3. that length of Wharf Lane, Rickmansworth from its junction with Talbot Road south eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 8July 2019 for aperiod of up to 18 months.
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
Acopy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to maintain road safety proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to replace The Hertfordshire (Vicarage Road, Watford) (Watford Football Stadium Match Day and Sporting Events) (Prohibition of Driving) Order 2007. The general effect of this Order will be to permit Traffic Management Operatives to be used to control vehicular access instead of Policeand take account of changes to Watford Football Club Stadium use, with the move of Saracens RFC. The proposals as set out in the Schedule to this Notice, will not have any effect on the current accessibility permitted during the closure of Vicarage Road for Football Matches or events.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") and public footpath ("the Public Footpath") will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of Roads, except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at anytime on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
a) the service road fronting Nos.12-36 Highfield Way, Rickmansworth from its westernmost junction with Highfield Waynorth eastwards, south eastwards and south westwards to its easternmost junction with Highfield Way, adistance of approximately 121 metres.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
b) the service road fronting Nos.11-33 Highfield Way, Rickmansworth from its westernmost junction with Highfield Waysouth westwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its easternmost junction with Highfield Way, adistance of approximately 122 metres.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
c) thatlength of Oxhey Avenue, Watford from its junction with A4008 Pinner Road south westwards to its junction with Grover Road, adistance of approximately 101 metres.
An alternative route will be via A4008 Pinner Road, Watford Heath and Oxhey Avenue.
2. To prohibit all pedestrians from using Croxley Green Public Footpath No.016 from its junction with Winton Crescent north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Malvern Way, adistance of approximately 94 metres.
An alternative route will be via the footways situated on the north sides of Winton Crescent and Winton Drive, the footway situated on the south side of Girton Wayand the footway situated on the east side of Malvern Way.

1. that length of Charlock Way, Watford from its junction with Tolpits Lane south eastwards to its easternmost junction with Caractacus Green, adistance of approximately 265 metres.
An alternative route will be via Tolpits Lane, High View and Caractacus Green.
2. that length of Combe Road, Watford from its junction with Charlock Waysouth westwards for adistance of approximately 13 metres.

An alternative route will be via TolpitsLane, HighView and Caractacus Green.
