(Footpath 29, St Osyth) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 29, St Osyth in the District of Tendring, from property No.49 Promenade Way to property No.59 Promenade Way, a distance of approximately 100 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8 July 2019 to 19 July 2019 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works are undertaken by the Environment Agency to prevent flooding to properties on Promenade Way.
The alternative route will be via Footpath 25, St Osyth, The Order will come into effect on 8 July 2019 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Upgrade of existing pedestrian crossing, A134 Balkerne Hill, Colchester
Notice is hereby given that under Sections 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Essex County Council proposes to upgrade the existing Pelican Crossing to a Puffin Crossing on the following length of A134 Balkerne Hill in the Borough of Colchester located as follows:-
Upgrade of existing Dual Pelican Crossing to Dual Puffin Crossing Road Description
A134 Balkerne Hill, The centre of the crossing is approximately Colchester 34.2 metres north of the junction with Crouch Street (west) on the northbound carriageway and 15 metres north of the junction with Crouch Street (east) on the southbound carriageway.
It is not proposed to change the location of the existing pedestrian crossing facility.

1. To temporarily close that length of Meredith Road, Clacton-on-Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Old Road for a distance of approximately 20m in an easterly direction.
2. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction on Meredith Road, Clacton-on-Sea in the District of Tendring, as detailed in 'The Tendring District Council (St Andrew's Road, Meredith Road, Page Road, Clacton) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1980' for the duration of the works.
