Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Castle Street (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Nelson Road to its junction with Hamilton Road to enable Network Rail to carry out a structural bridge exam. Alternative route Southbound: via Castle Street (unaffected length) -A36 - Exeter Street - Catherine Street - New Canal -High Street - Minster Street. Alternative route Northbound: via Castle Street (unaffected length) -Blue Boar Row - Winchester Street - Brown Street - St Ann Street - Exeter Street - A36. This Order will come into operation on 27 July 2019 and the closure will be required between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 until 28 July 2019. B) Westwood Road (Part), Salisbury; from property known as 145 Westwood Road for a distance of approximately 170 metres in a southerly direction to enable Wessex Water to construct a new foul sewer in the Highway. Alternative route: via Westwood Road (unaffected length) - Rawlence Road - Woodside Road - The Valley - Olivier Close and vice versa. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:

C) Manor Farm Road (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Milford Mill Road to its junction with Westbourne Close to enable Vodafone to install duct in the carriageway. Alternative route: via Shady Bower - Laverstock Road - Riverside Road - Manor Farm Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 01 July 2019 and the closure will be required until 05 July 2019. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
