NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U71609, Barrack Hill, Little Birch, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U71609, Barrack Hill, Little Birch, between the entrance of Eden Lane and Pies Nest. Grid Ref: 350711 / 232542. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1261 to Hoarwithy onto the C1262 onto Laskett Lane onto the A49 onto Wrigglebrook Lane onto Wrigglebrook Pitch onto Little Birch Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to overhead structure cabling works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 8th of July 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
