(Skitts Hill, Braintree) (Temporary Waiting Restriction) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 Has Made the following order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effects of the order: To introduce waiting restrictions on those lengths of road described below. The restrictions are required to avoid danger to the public and other traffic on the road and to prevent the likelihood of any such danger occurring
1. To introduce no waiting 10am to 11am and 2pm to 3pm Monday to Friday excluding bank and public holidays on the following length of road in the district of Braintree
Road
Description
Skitts Hill
i) East side, from the southern property boundary of number 59 in a south eastern direction for 16 metres
ii) East side, from a point 10 metres north of its junction with Brise Close north for 37 metres
iii) East side, from a point 10 metres south of its junction with Brise Close south to a point 15 metres north of its junction with Driberg Way
iv) West side, from a point 26 metres south of its junction with Orchard Drive to a point 15 metres south of its junction with Driberg Way
2. To introduce no waiting at any time on the following lengths of road in the district of Braintree
Road
Description
Driberg Way
South side, from a point 15 metres east of its junction with Skitts Hill, east for its entire length.
Harrison Drive Both sides, from its junction with Driberg Way south for 15 metres
Skitts Hill
Both sides, from a point 15 metres south of its junction with Driberg Way to a point 15 metres west of its junction with Park Drive
Browning
Road Both sides, from its junction with Challis Lane south east for 15 metres
Challis Lane
i) North side, from the boundary of numbers 77/79 south west for 58 metres
ii) South side, from a point opposite the boundary of numbers 77/79 south west for 33 metres
The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Permitted Parking and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 shall be temporarily amended in so far as it relates to the waiting restrictions detailed in this Notice.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 01 July 2019 and may continue if force for up to 18 months or until it is made permanent. Date: 27 June 2019

Public Path Diversion Order 2018 In the District of Braintree Town & Country Planning Act 1990 - Section 257 Footpath 60 Braintree
The above Order confirmed on 4th October, 2018, which diverted a part length of public Footpath 60 in the town of Braintree has now been certified by Essex County Council as ready for public use. The new route is two metres in width and will be a total distance of 411 metres, running between the access road west of Springwood Drive and the Rayne Road. The new route may be subject to temporary closure until the housing development through which the path runs, is completed.

(Bulford Mill Lane, Cressing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bulford Mill Lane, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 310m west of its junction with Mill Lane for a distance of approximately 30m in a westerly direction (10m either side of railway crossing). The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th July 2019 for 1 night, or where stated on a valid permit (KL735BRA-19-73-040719 -Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while track inspection works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Witham Road, The Green, The Street, Station Road, Mill Lane and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 20th June 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Church Road, Wickham Bishops) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Wickham Bishops in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Blacksmiths Lane for a distance of approximately 60m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence
on 8th July 2019 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005KN1W000WICKBISH-ES5 - BT) The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation of duct works are undertaken
by BT.
An alternative route is available via Blacksmiths Lane, The Street and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 20th June 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hillside Gardens, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hillside Gardens, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 90m west of its junction with Rifle Hill for a distance of approximately 40m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st July 2019 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03156020447 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while reinstatement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Buckwoods Road, Beadon Drive, Notley Road, Stephenson Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 20th June 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Stambourne Road, Toppesfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Stambourne Road, Toppesfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Church Lane to its junction with Great Yeldham Road, a distance of approximately 1780m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st July 2019 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2274439 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while post and rail fence replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Stambourne Road, Ridgewell Road, Church Road, High Street, Toppesfield Road, Great Yeldham Road, The Causeway, The Street, Church Lane and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 20th June 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Lea Lane, Great Braxted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lea Lane, Great Braxted in the District of Maldon, from both of its junctions with Braxted Park Road for a distance of approximately 750m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd July 2019 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034811204 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while telegraph pole replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Braxted Park Road, Tiptree Road, Sextons Lane, Braxted Road, Heath Lane, Kelvedon Road, Lea Lane, Witham Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 20th June 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Mill Hill, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Hill, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 100m east of its junction with Rose Hill for a distance of approximately 40m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st July 2019 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03155984978 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while valve cover replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Mill Hill, Skitts Hill, Mill Park Drive, Challis Lane, Masefield Road, Notley Road, South Street, Railway Street, Trinovantian Way, Wickham Crescent, Manor Street, Lakes Road, Chapel Hill and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 20th June 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
