ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1)(a)

THE A46 TRUNK ROAD (EVESHAM BYPASS, WORCESTERSHIRE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 9346363) intends to make an order on the A46 Trunk Road at Evesham in the County of Worcestershire, to allow toucan crossing installation and maintenance works to be carried out.

The effect of the Order will be to close the A46 between its roundabout junction with the A44 Broadway Road, and its roundabout junction with Millennium Way and The Link, at Evesham.

The work will be carried out overnight between

20:00 hours and 06:00 hours and is expected

to start on Wednesday 10 July 2019 and

continue for nine nights. The Order will come

into force on 8 July 2019.

Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue

authority or ambulance purposes and vehicles

being used in connection with the works will

be exempt from the closure.

Diversion routes via the A4184 and via the

A44, the B4632, the B4077 and the M5 and

vice versa will be signed.
