Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Kennington, A423 Southern Bypass westbound Prohibition of Left Turn Date of Order: 8 July 2019 Coming into force: 15 July 2019 This Order is being introduced because of construction of new cycle facilities on the slip road to/from Kennington Road leading off the A423 Southern Bypass Road westbound carriageway which is anticipated to take 2 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle turning left (southwards) from the bypass to Kennington Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works.

The alternative route for traffic is via Hinksey Interchange -A423 eastbound - Old Abingdon Road & Kennington Road. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref T6605)

Didcot, B4493 Didcot Road

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 8 July 2019 Coming into force: 13 July 2019 This Order is being introduced because of new water connection works which are anticipated to take 2 weekends to complete - 7am on 13 July 2019 to 6am on 15 July 2019 and 7am on 20 July 2019 to 6am on 22 July 2019. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in that part of the B4493 Didcot Road east of the junction with Greenwood Way.

Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route is via the A417 Reading Road - A4130 Abingdon Road - B4493 Foxhall Road - B4493 Wantage Road. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref SJ/T6506)

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 24 June 2019

Coming into force: 1 July 2019 ThisOrderisbeingintroduced becauseofnewgasmainsworks which are anticipated to take 4weeks tocomplete. The effectof the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of Jennings Lane, Harwell. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via The Cleave - Kings Lane -Drewitts Corner and vice versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref.T6556/SJ)

Wallingford, St Martins Street Prohibition of Through Traffic Date ofOrder: 8July2019 Coming into force:15 July 2019 This Order is being introduced because of renovation work on St Mary Le More Church which is anticipated to be completed on 7 October 2019. This is a 24 hour closure. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of St Martins Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via St Marys Street - St Johns Road - Croft Road - High Street - St Martins Street and vice versa This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (T6535/RAG)

Faringdon, Gloucester Street Prohibition of Through Traffic and Waiting Date ofOrder: 8July2019 Coming into force: 15 July 2019 This Order is being introduced because of highway maintenance works which are anticipated to be concluded 27 July 2019. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the whole length of Gloucester Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the A417-Station Road-A417 Park Road - A420 - London Street and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (T6538/RAG)_

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -Section 14(1), (5) & (7) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Oxford, Alfred Street - Prohibition of Through Traffic Date ofOrder: 8July2019 Coming into force: 12 July 2019 This Order is being introduced because of building works for which HGV access is required for deliveries and waste removal,

which is anticipated to take 3 to 4 months to be completed. Closures will take place occasionally between the hours of 9.30am - 4.00pm for a duration of no more than one hour at a time. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of Alfred Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for controlled access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via King Edward Street, Bear Lane and vice-versa.

That part of The Oxfordshire County Council (City of Oxford) (Central Area) (Traffic Management) (Consolidation) Order 2003 (as amended) in so far as it affects Bear Lane access will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the works. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref. SJ/T5827)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Radley, Footpath No.326/3 Closure Date of Order: 24 June 2019 Coming into force: 1 July 2019 This Order is being introduced because of housing construction which is anticipated to be completed on 1 January 2021. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily footpath No.326/3 between Kennington Road and Sanford Lane (opposite Sugworth Crescent). Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The diversion route is around the south and east sides of the filed/construction site. This Order will remain in force for a period of 6 months and with the Consent of The Secretary of State for Transport may be

Notice of Temporary Footpath Closure

Culham, Footpath at Nuneham Crossing, Thame Lane Date of Order: 24 June 2019 Coming into force: 29 June 2019 This Order is being introduced because of rail track renewal work which is anticipated to take 10 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily footpath at Nuneham Crossing, Thame Lane west of the science centre. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. A nearby local diversion route is signed. STEVENTON ROAD (EAST HANNEY) PROPOSED TRAFFIC CALMING AND BUS STOP CLEARWAYS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & the Highways Act 1980 proposes to construct the following features in East Hanney, this is in response to the adjacent residential development: Steventon Road:

? North side - a speed cushion with adjacent kerbed build-out on the south side of the carriageway, approx. 3.7m long, 1.6m wide and 75mm high to be located:



o 180 metres* east of the junction with Whitfield Garden, with priority given to traffic travelling eastwards out of East Hanney.

o Provision to bypass the calming will be made for pedal cycles travelling westwards into East Hanney via a cycle route on the nearside of the carriageway.

? Two Bus Stop Clearways with a 'No Stopping except local buses' restriction to be located:



o North side - 50 metres* east of the junction with Whitfield Garden, and

o South side - 82 metres* east of the junction with Whitfield Garden

? All dimensions are approximate, taken from the centre of the junction to the centre of the feature.
