ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 17th June 2019 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-

Phase 1 - Hollingdean Road

The Temporary prohibition of the right turn movement from Popes Folly into Hollingdean Road.

Close Hollingdean Road to Westbound traffic at its junction with Lewes

Road westwards to opposite Popes Folly.

Phase 2 - Lewes Road

The temporary prohibition of the right turn movement from Lewes Road into the southern access of Saunders Park View.

2.The Order is necessary to enable UK Power Network's contractors to install new 11kV ducting and cabling for Brighton University.

3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.



4. This Order comes into force on 24 June 2019 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed.
