The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 12/07/2019 quoting the reference number. All views expressed regarding a planning application will be considered and placed on a file, which is open to the public. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004 1. The County of Wiltshire (C211 The Street, Broughton Gifford) (30mph Speed Limit) Order 2019 2. The County of Wiltshire (Parishes of West Wiltshire) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2016 (Amendment No. 4) Order 2019 Notice is hereby given that on 11 June 2019 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act of 1984") and Order 2 also under the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be as follows: Order 1 - To amend The County of Wiltshire (Built-Up Areas) Order 1936 to delete the following description:-'Broughton Gifford - The Broughton Gifford-Holt (unclassified) road for a length of about 220 yards from the Post Office to the Methodist Chapel'; to re-enact this in the above Order 1 for administrative purposes only, to include the current length of 30mph speed limit in place on The Street (no changes to take place on the ground) and to introduce a 30mph speed limit on the following lengths of road:

C211 The Street -from the termination point of the existing 30mph speed limit for a distance of 105 metres in a south westerly direction to the north eastern boundary of The Old Dairy. Order 2 - To amend The County of Wiltshire (Parishes of West Wiltshire) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2016 by introducing Map Schedule Nos EA31, EB31 and EC31 the effect of which will be as follows; To introduce No waiting at any time on the following lengths of road:- The Street/Newleaze Park - north east and south east side - from the northern boundary of The Fox Public House for a distance of 22 metres into Newleaze Park; The Street/Newleaze Park - north east and north west sides - from the southern boundary of No.1 Cromwell Cottage for a distance of 22 metres into Newleaze Park; The Street -south west side - from the northern boundary of No. 21 The Street for a distance of 38 metres in a south easterly direction; The Street - both sides - from the northern boundary of The Old Parsonage Nursing Home for a distance of 44 metres in a northerly direction. A copy of the Orders and plans may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Any person aggrieved by the Orders and desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the Act of 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984 or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Orders will come into operation on 24 June 2019.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Woodmarsh, North Bradley; from its junction with A363 to its junction with Southwick Road; B) Westbury Road, North Bradley; from its junction with Southwick Road to its junction with A363; C) Southwick Road (Part), North Bradley; from its junction with Woodmarsh to its junction with College Gardens to enable Tarmac to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance works. Alternative route for (a) and (b): via A363 White Horse Business Park and vice versa. Alternative route for (c): via Southwick Road (unaffected length) - Bradley Road - Goose Street - Wynsome Street - A361 - A363 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 15 July 2019 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 until 16 July 2019. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: D) Newhurst Park (Part), Hilperton; from its junction with A361 Hilperton Drive for a distance of approximately 80 metres in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water can repair defective apparatus. Alternative route: via A361 Hilperton Drive -Ashton Road - Newhurst Park (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 27 June 2019 and the closure will be required for one day. For further information please contact Tom Wysocki

from its junction with Kinneir Close for a distance of approximately 50 metresin a westerlydirection toenableWessexWatertocarryoutessential sewage repairs to damaged pipe. Alternative route: Stokes Road (unaffected length) - B3353 - Station Road - and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 June 2019 and the closure will be required until 29 June. For further information please contact Rochelle Soutar (Wessex Water) on 03456004600. The Orders (a) to (e) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
