Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Islip, Lower Street and Middle Street Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 1 July 2019 Coming into force: 8 July 2019 This Order is being introduced because of water mains renewal works which are anticipated to take 4 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of Lower Street and the eastern section of Middle Street to North Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.

The alternative route for traffic is via North Street and Mill Street and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T6727)

Bicester, A41 Oxford Road

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 17 June 2019 Coming into force: 27 June 2019 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway resurfacing works which are anticipated to take 11 days to complete between 8pm and 6am all days. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the length of A41 dual-carriageway between the M40 interchange and the B4030 Bicester Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.

The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via the B4030 to Middleton Stoney and south on the B430. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref.SJ/T6454)
