NOTICE Is hereby given that the Blackburn

with Darwen Borough Council, made the

above Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order is to close Rockcliffe

Street from its junction with Grimshaw Park

to its junction with Yates Fold.

The closure is necessary for the following

reason: Replace manhole frame and cover

The Order will come into force on 24th

June 2019 and shall continue in force for a

period of eighteen months or until the works

are completed, whichever is the earlier.

However, it is anticipated that the works will

be completed by 24th June 2019.

The alternative route for the affected traffic

will be Rockcliffe Street. Highfield Road,

Mosley Street, Grimshaw Park and vice

versa.

Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
